ST Machinery Technology (Foshan) Co., Ltd ("STMT", "us", "We" and "our") respect your privacy and take the security of your personal information very seriously. We may collect and use your personal information when you use our products and/or services based on your consent, contract relationship, legitimate interest or other applicable legal ground.

STMT Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") describes how we collect, use, store, share and transfer your personal information, and the ways we provide for you to access, update, delete, and protect your personal information.

Your personal information will be collected directly or indirectly by your use of our products, services or website, or when you interact with us, such as calling us or sending e-mail to us, participating in our business activities.

We may collect your personal information for the following purposes:

When using your personal data, STMT will avoid the risk of loss, corruption or theft, following these rules:

• When working with personal data, our employees will ensure the screens of their computers are always locked when left unattended.
• Data will be held in as few places as necessary (our employees will not create any unnecessary additional data sets).
• Our employees will take every opportunity to ensure data is updated (for instance, by confirming a customer's details when they call).
• Employees will keep all data secure, by taking sensible precautions. In particular, strong passwords must be used and they will never be shared.
• Personal data will not be disclosed to unauthorised people, either within the company or externally.
• Data will be regularly reviewed and updated if it is found to be out of date. If no longer required, data will be deleted and disposed of.

3. Sharing, Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Information

In order to ensure the security of your personal information, we will follow the principle of minimization when sharing, transfer or disclosing your personal information: 

• As we are part of a multinational Group, we may share your personal information with other companies of our Group if necessary, so that we can offer timely services to you (in any case, our Group's companies abroad that share data with STMT will guarantee the security of your personal information as they comply with the local privacy regulations).
• We may share the minimal and necessary information with our business partners, so that we can provide you with services relating to after-sales maintenance and transportation of goods.
• For the transfer of your personal information during merger, acquisition, bankruptcy liquidation, asset transfer, or other similar transactions, we will require the new company or organization possessing your personal information to be bound continuously by the requirements, commitments and safeguards described in this Policy. 
• We may also disclose your personal information to the law enforcement agencies/governmental authorities if we believe that such disclosure of your personal information complies with any applicable law or responds to related legal process.

We will require all companies, organizations and individuals that share your personal information to process your personal information in strict compliance with our security standards, requirements of this Policy, and related confidentiality and security regulations. 

4. Access and Management of Personal Information

If you submit your personal information to us, please ensure the accuracy of such information.

For requirements by applicable laws, you may: 

• Have access to your personal information we have held.
• Update or correct any of your inaccurate personal information.
• Refuse to allow us to use your personal information.
• Require us to limit or delete your personal information, and 
• Require us to comply with your request for data portability.

When you claim the said rights, we may require you to submit a written request and may verify your identify. Usually, we do not charge anything for such processes unless your request goes beyond the limit of conventional requirements. 5. Protection and Storage of Personal Information

By strengthening the physical, administrative and technical safeguards of personal information, we will endeavor to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, damage, loss and any other forms of unlawful processing. 

When data is stored on paper, it will be kept in a secure place where unauthorised people cannot see it. 

These guidelines also apply to data that is usually stored electronically but has been printed out for some reason:

• When not required, the paper or files will be kept in a locked drawer or filing cabinet.
• Employees will make sure paper and printouts are not left where unauthorised people could see them, like on a printer.
• Data printouts will be shredded and disposed of securely when no longer required.

When data is stored electronically, it must be protected from unauthorised access, accidental deletion and malicious hacking attempts:

• Data will be protected by strong passwords that are changed regularly and never shared between employees.
• If data is stored on removable media (like a CD or DVD), these will be kept locked away securely when not being used.
• STMT shall engage in data categorization, in order to identify important information (credit card details, salaries, passwords, etc.) that must be backed up and encrypted with more care.
• Data will only be stored on designated servers and will only be uploaded to an approved cloud computing services.
• Servers containing personal data will be sited in a secure location.
• Data will be backed up frequently. Those backups will be tested regularly, in line with the company's standard backup procedures.
• All servers and computers containing data will be protected by approved security software and a firewall.
• STMT will adopt adequate security system in order to prevent viruses and network attacks, to record and track cyber incidents, to find and repair vulnerabilities.

6. Protection of Children's Personal Information

Children's personal information needs special protection. STMT will not intentionally collect the personal information from children without prior consent of their parents or guardians. For children's personal information collected with prior consent of their parents or guardians, we will only use or disclose such information in accordance with applicable local laws and the express consent of their parents or guardians. If STMT finds any personal information of children that is collected without prior consent of their parents or guardians, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

7. Cross-border Transfer of Personal Information

STMT is part of a multinational Group. Generally, STMT will process your personal information in P.R. China. However, we may transfer your personal information to other country/region that may have different laws for the protection of personal information. Wherever we transfer such personal information, we will inform you the destination, recipient and related information and take efficient measures to comply with this Policy and applicable laws (except in case of data shared with other companies of our Group); for cross-border transfer of your personal information, we will seek your prior consent and we will respect the requirements of Chinese laws for transferring personal information abroad.

8. Update of this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If this Policy is revised, we will promptly inform you. In any case, we will release the latest revised version of this Policy on our official website (https://stoneblowmoulding.com/).
